I’m not a racist

Posted on 03. Sep, 2010 by Vene in Overly bubbly, Vene's Lifestyle, break-a-while

I’m not a racist! But i’m a racer to be!!! muahahhaha!~

I was in this Rally2Rich racing event at Sepang Circuit, that organized by iMagazine.

The main objective of the event is for those who likes racing to stand a chance to race Legally on the international circuit other than the ‘normal highway’!

It is also to pursued the public/ youngsters to go for a legal racing rather than an illegal racing that might cause some fatal accident.

Frankly speaking, that day was one of my ‘super – excited’ , ‘super – high’ day!

If you do not know me well….Let me tell you…One of my hobby is car racing~ but as you know, i am not those hard core person that will modify my car and knows a lot about the spare parts nor the imported engineessssss….but i’m definitely one of the ladies who love driving MANUAL car , who loves Sport cars!

Back to the old days, when all of my friends were still young, when most of my friends were driving sport cars , we often went for go-kart, real car racing (i mean those legal one ler) ,test around the cars and had loads of fun!

Those days……

But i’m turning to be more ‘feminine’ and stopped all those activities till the day i met Rally2Rich! haha!

Rally2Rich inspired me with a new birthday wish….I wish that i will be able to own my own circuit soon, so that i could invite my friends along for the Legal car racing on my very own Circuit! Even Alex Yoong needs to come to my circuit to practice his racing skill :P

Anyway, thanks to iMagazine, Rally2Rich and jiayu tv for the invitation.

There were other celebrities attended the event too. Like Ah Hao, Diana and Adrian~

And of course…other than the celebrities, there are HOT Chics around too!

I’m showing you the picture again, is because of i want you to spot the difference in the pictures….Ooppss, just kidding. I wanted to show you how flat their tummies are! Darn…look at all of the hot chics around me! Their tummies are all so FLAT!!! So bubbly Envy them !  How could they make it? You know my tummy is so big~ that people often mistaken that i’m pregnant! NO KIDDING! and IM SERIOUS!

Alright, Let;s get back to the event!

The event is actually open to public and the participants can bring their own Car and drive on the international circuit.

Just like this car’s owner! He was there with his own BRAND of car!

What?! you think this is a FORD?

You are WRONG! hahahah!

“Hey, owner! You are freaking creative , wei! LOL “

(i wonder who is the owner?)

Alright, as for me, i had an important task on that day. Which is to host and talk about the event~

And….

and….to race ler, of course~ !

Before you are able to get yourself into the racing car, you have to go for a briefing and a short training! Before all of these, you have to camwhore first…to capture your nice nice look and hair before you put on the helmet~

When you are ready for the training, then you have to put on the shower cap…oopss, this is not a shower cap. In fact, it is a ‘protector’ that prepared by the organizer, to prevent you dirty the helmet with your Sweat….aahhh, I like this protector because the helmets provided by those Go-Kart are always very very dirty and smelly~!

But i felt pretty much comfortable with the helmets that provided by Rally2Rich! they look new and clean~!

alright…so , are you ready?!

(i was done with my short training. It was a good training for you to get familiar with the route and experience the SPEED before you go on the racing car and drive on your own. And i need to say that the trainers that invited by Rally2 Rich are all damn pro lo~ )

ARE YOU READY?!

I was the second participant that drove on the car on that day! The racing car is a MANUAL Car which was something i’m familiar with…keke (yea, im proud that im able to drive manual car :P   )

This was the car that i was driving! I swear that the car was moving very fast but the cameraman claimed that the camera’s sensitivity is very good. that’s why he was able to capture this picture ! LOL!

The moment i got down from the car.

You will definitely tremble a little especially if that was your first time trying on it. But it was really really FUN! super, extremely fun~ !

There will be a well-trained coach with you in the car, and it is always safe~ If you are a good student ler!

The event organizer was giving away loads of prizes to the participants.

One of the prizes that i have got was this “sports watch”

It is water resistant and it is so convenient~!

Oh yea, i heard that Rally2Rich is going to have another event coming up on October! Try to contact them if you are interested in their events. I guess i will be joining their “pilot to be ” event soon :)

This is ……good! hehehehheh

‘Sashimi’ Prawn!

Okay, i ordered this the other day and didn’t know that the prawns are RAW RAW RAW!! I wonder if the prawns are fully ‘dead’ …hehe!

Basically the chef just peeled off the shell of the frozen prawns and put it on spoon with garlic, mint, chili and the MAIN thing that you should take this Raw prawns with is the SAUCE in the middle. you should dip the prawns into the sauce and one bite off of the prawns…..

The taste was a little bit ‘yucky’ …and it was super duper extremely HOT! i mean spicy!! The sauce was so extremely spicy but overall the taste was unique!

A good try on it!

p/s: i had this in Subang ~ :”)

congrats to my new bubbly layout!

KLM Airline

Posted on 03. Aug, 2010 by Vene in Bubbly Vacation, Summer

KLM Dutch Airline is a very nice airline  ~

I was taking KLM Royal Dutch Airline to Indonesia and it was my first time with KLM.

The name of the airline makes me real excited and look forward to….

klm

Eventually, it did not turn me down as well ~

And the cabin crews (they are all Dutch!) are all very friendly ~

klm078

They might not look young nor as perfect as you have imagined the cabin crew should be, but

They look like the typical mommy that come out from the Hollywood ‘s films~i mean, all of them look friendly ~

klm09

The Dutch Heritage meal that they served on board ~ :P

klm5

The starter (on the left) and the dessert (on the right)

klm3

Kay, obviously the main course was the very Indonesia Mee but nothing got to do with Dutch ~  :P

klm0

When i was on my way back to Malaysia , they served the very Indonesia Rojak as starter

(phew, i just realized that i did not take any shot of the whole set of the meal ~ )

klm087

The very Indonesia rice as the main course ~

klm8

And the Not so Indonesia Pudding~    :D

Nothing much to highlight on KLM but overall was good~ *Satisfied* !

I would definitely consider KLM for my upcoming trips ~

To my surprise~

This brown sandal is the “hottest” item! (Last call ! Last call! Make sure you make the order right now before the closing date! )

I think this brown sandal is very lovely too ~

But my favourite is still the black heels ~

life51

It doesn’t only looks nice but it is very comfortable to wear on your foot ~

life8

I wore it to the Agencies award last night , with my little elegant black dress from Cloth & Sash.

(i wonder why the ‘photographer’ a.k.a my zhi mui snap picture with such a low angle ar?)

life6

It was so lowwwww angle till my head is missing…. – -”

K, its not her fault, its my camera problem, i think.  :P     (hopefully she will still be my ‘cameraman’ in the future ler :P )

indonshoes1

The reason that this black Velvet heels is comfortable is because of the thick platform that you can see from the picture~

Till then ~

Volcano – indonesia

Posted on 24. Jul, 2010 by Vene in Bubbly Vacation, Summer

indon47

this was my first time to indonesia, Jakarta. And i was travelling with my youngest brother alone.

Jakarta’s impression to me was – “massive traffic”  “expensive”   “crowded”   “freaking driving skills” …..

When brother and i just landed, we had no idea of how to arrange and plan for our itinerary for the next day since we did not know much about indonesia / jakarta. After having a long and “funny” BAHASA talk with the driver who picked us up from the airport, we decided to fill up our day with Bandung day trip.

The next day:

indon767

The traffic in Indonesia was crazy, and it took us about 4 hours to arrive at Bandung.

indon990

Our first destination was up to the hill, to have a closer look at the one of the Volcanos. My youngest brother told me that this Volcano is NOT a dead / sleeping Volcano. I mean it is not dead but i am not too sure if its status is a sleeping Volcano, as long as i know that It is still active geh ~

indon6

I was terrified and kept thinking … ‘what if the Volcano ‘burst’ right now when i am up to the hill?’….

Then…my youngest brother, who is younger than me 8 years, was trying to explain to me about the basic knowledge of  Volcano! and i was really amazed with his explaination! (i have to admit that he has more knowledge than me coz he was studying in private school where they did more syllabus than my school did lo – -  )

indon90

Kay, finally, i was up to the place to have a better view of the volcano~!

indon

Wau…Volcano~!

It was a little bit different from what i have imagined all these while ~

indon2

Do you see the smoke?

That’s the smoke! no kidding!

indon03

Supposingly the air was chilling when we were at the peak of the mountain, but it was warm when I stood nearer to the Volcano!

indon89

This was my FIRST time getting so near to the LIVE Volcano~!

indon76

But other than snapping pictures with the Volcano, i have no idea of what we should do there lo ~

indon66

Not to waste the energy and time that we have spent just to climb up to the mountain, brother decided to have a Deep Deep breath of freedom~ breezily~

indon989

Scenario along the volcano area

indon980

You can have the Siomay or Baso Tahu around the Volcano area…if you dare la! (i don’t dare because there were using one small pill of water to wash all of the dishes throughout the day :P   )

Anyway, Baso means meatball , i guess …. :P
