(I am tasting another piece of Hallabong Chocolate when i am writing this … :)    )

Anyone wanna try it ? Can get a piece from me anytime u like :P

must-try78

Hallabong Fruit is one of the Local Product in Jeju Island. Therefore, you can try to buy some Hallabong Chocolates or Hallabong Cookies as souvenirs . (because you are not allowed to bring back the real hallabong fruit back to Malaysia, i reckon … )

MUST KNOW : KNOWLEDGE

must-try09

This 土地公 is the signature of Jeju Island. Basically, you can see it everywhere in Jeju Island.

If you see this 土地公 once you open up your eyes from your sleep, it means that you are already in Jeju Island lo~!

must-try4

Jeju Island

Another MUST TRY in Jeju Island …

must-try5

Jeju Island

Jeju Island is a very nice & cool island. Especially the abalone and seafood over there…

must-try66

the nice view of Jeju Island

Abalone is consider a high end seafood, but it is super duper affordable in Jeju Island and all of the seafood are super duper FRESH!

must-try8

All of the FRESH seafood are caught by   the Azuma here (old ladies) who is also known as the Jeju MERMAID!

YES! They are MERMAID, k!

must-try2

This is not Octopus

Did you watch any of  the  Travel Programmes about Korea? If you do, you should have know that one of their attraction is the Super FRESH SOTONG there!  They will chop off the SOTONG / Octopus while it is still ALIVE and you have to consume it while it is still MOVING!

must-try

This is not Octopus

I went through all the big rocks, went down to the ‘Sea side’ and stood there for 30 minutes, staring at the people who were having the LIFE SEAFOOD over there. (no pictures)

I remember there was a family, a young mommy, young daddy with two young kids were having the LIFE OCTOPUS! The young daughter was enjoying it But she was not able to ‘nip’ the octopus because ‘claw’ (i mean the 吸盘part..’claw’ is not the right word to describe it, i guess)  of the Octopus were moving and the 吸盘 was sucking the paper plate, which is super hard to catch it lo.

But the young daddy was so considerate…Keep feeding the young daughter with the LIFE Octopus!  :S

As for their son…

their son was so busy , running around with the digital camera and keep snapping the Azuma (old lady) who is chopping the FRESH SEAFOOD!

I tell you….I was so regret that i didn’t try it. Hey, you don’t see it in Malaysia and it is FRESH from the SEA and consume it straight away at the SEA SIDE!

I should have just gather all of the people there and order a plate of Life Octopus…(but i am going to take one small piece of it only ler…haha)

must-try100

Fried Worms…

I think this is different from the China type of Fried worms …Never try it …and i never say this is one of the MUST TRY yea… :P   try it if you dare to!

must-try107

the real Sotong

Ok, This is really a MUST TRY FOOD in Jeju Island!

must-try109

They 烤 the Sotong and it was so so so so NICE! So Tasty!  (my saliva is dripping now……oopps)

must-try103

There are a lot of different type of Sotong in malaysia, but this is so different as the taste is really nice and FRESH!  YUMMY!

I will never forget the taste of the Sotong there But….

a friendly warning reminder to all of the Malaysians…do not say “sotong” to the seller if you want to buy the Sotong. Because SO TONG in  Korean means (the shit of the cow)….I am worry if the seller will bring you a pack of ‘fried cow shit’ if you say SOTONG to them…. :P

Note: More of the MUST TRY items in the Next post!
