Thailand is like a ‘must’ visit country to most of the Malaysians. .

And, visiting to Thailand is more like a weekend escape / a weekend shopping trip than a real holiday to most of the malaysians or cheesie and i.

That is why, cheesie and i were in thailand during the last weekend without any pre-planning itinerary.

My main purpose was to accompany the ‘sting’ cheese for prayer…… (did i just sound very “wai dai” ? )

we have an annual trip ‘deal’ between both of us where both of us have to make up some time to travel with each other at least once a year….The ‘deal’ started since year 2005. and we hope it will last forever, till we die.

Frankly speaking, i never like to travel with AA, therefore, AA will always be my LAST LAST choice….Other than AA, there are plenty of options out there….such as Royal Jordanian Air.

(i booked this for my colleague as well when they were flying off to Bangkok for a business trip…and they liked it so much )

The food was normal, but its good enough

We did not plan much for our activities in Thailand, but the most that we did was wandering around the city ….

Til our legs got numb and back got ache…

then we went for a luxury massage & Spa …

(you can get 200baht body massage for two hours but this massage worth 2000baht for two hours….! coz we did not know where to go to…but their service was extremely good and the place was comfy and hygiene)

It was my very very first time that the massage lady turned over my body and continue with her massage After massaging my back,  without asking for my permission…..   – -”

She scared me wei…

MUST TRY : RECOMMENDATIONS :

The coconut dessert at chatuchak night market. (it was not there during my last visit)

A very affordable and yummy dessert that made with coconut flesh!

And you can choose two flavours for topping….

it looks like tutti fuiti huh…but their toppings are very Thai style …

Eventually, we chose this and that…. the corn and the yellow thingie…

mouthwatering ….

and the coconut flesh tasted so sweet and nice!!!!!!!

You paid around 30baht not only for the mouthwatering dessert but it comes with a cup of refreshing coconut juice as well!!

WORTH IT!!

Remember to search for this coconut stall at Chatuchak!

My cruise holiday was enough for me to brag write about it for a month….

One thing good about having cruise holiday  – All of the crews are from all over the world, even the passengers….and you will have the chance to interact with all these people all over the world.

If you are not on board with your another half, you might have the chance to meet a new foreign bf/gf too ~

Yup, i know . my story was long~ it’s still about my cruise story. and when you need to spare more time  in earning more money for your realistic life, you tend to sacrifice your personal time, including personal time in blogging ~

This is my second time in Krabi island, Thailand.

Exactly like my phuket trip

Therefore, i did not plan much for my krabi trip, not even joining their local day trip. What i wanted was just Nice delicious Thai Food and Thai shopping!

I think Tanta’s REstaurant was not there during my last trip to krabi.

I tell you honestly….i have been to Thailand for thousand times, i have tried local Mango Sticky Rice for zillion times, but i never tasted something like this before!

The Mango was super duper Fresh, Sweet! And the sticky rice was Warm and sticky enough :”)

Then, i spotted someone was having their romantic Super Sunny Super HOT wedding ceremony at the Beach! at 1500p.m!! in the AFTERNOON! Wahlau eh! it was not fun to be their guest at all lo…

K, is time to be on board again after a lovely day trip at Krabi island~

Star Cruise Libra stopped at Thailand, Phuket and Krabi on different days for us to get down from the cruise and tour around at the island.

Therefore , Y6ou got to bring along your passport and treat this as your overseas vacation too :”)

This is my second time to phuket.

My last visit to Phuket was in year 2006, and i have done a lot at Phuket, and Pahtong Beach~ Therefore, there is nothing much for me to feel excited for for this round being….But still, i enjoyed the shopping in Phuket and Pahtong Beach~ !

I took pictures at the same spots and wanted to do some comparison, compare the current and the 2006’s pictures…..But too bad , my netbook cannot read CD-R ~

Patong beach and Phuket did not change much ….Because my last visit was After Tsunami ~

The tourist spots, the photo call spots, the shopping stores,

Even the same uncle selling the same pancake at the same place with the same bike!

*i so wanted to show you the pictures that i took with  this pancake store in year 2006*

Everything seems to be the same , but when you look closer at the whole Phuket and Patong beach, you will realized that there is not many Local – Thai people selling or taking care of the stores anymore….

A new tip : you got to learn some indian / myanmar language before you visit to Thailand, Phuket because there is no point for you to bargain the price in Thai, the seller will not understand as majority of them are from India or Myanmar…

Weird right?!

Even this Pad-Thai noodle, was cooked and sold by a Malay from Indonesia ~

ehm…

I wonder if the Thai are all getting richer and hire the people to jaga their stores or ….!?!?!?

My surprise trip started with FireFly ~

We took firefly Subang to Penang, to kickstart with my mystery trip. And the stewardess from FireFly passed me the special FireFly ipod for me to fill up the survey form :”)

The moment we arrived in Penang, i was so curious of the mystery person’s next arrangement.

Until our cab brought us to the jetty and until i saw the Star CRUISE!! OMG!!!!

i can’t believe that i’m boarding on cruise~!

This is my first experience of taking star cruise. mommy and daddy always story about their experiences , their casino gambling experiences in Cruise, but they have not bring me before~

OMG! i’m on board !!!

our destination is from Penang to Thailand, Phuket, to Thailand , krabi and back to Penang, malaysia.

Our main purpose for traveling all the way to Australia was to celebrate ah ma’s birthday.

And there, vivien they all have arranged a fine dining celebration dinner in a superb fine dining restaurant – TAO.

TAO is actually a fusion Japanese Restaurant…And remember the word –FUSION. Therefore, they are not serving the typical authentic japanese food.

but the style and the sequence of the food are like Japanese style.

Since TAO is a fine dining restaurant, all of us had to dress up formarly.

The guys are mostly with tiesss

Serious yet FUNNY! (i mean his tie)

Majority of the guys in the family were dressed up in shirts and tiess and for the ladies, are all in dress…

Don;t look at mine, mine consider the most casual dress compared to the other ladies.

Although it was near to summer in Australia but i remember it was quite “chiling” on that day…

When we arrived at TAO~ Vivien and the bf was already there for set up!

We booked the tabless for 40pax with Four long tables and Vivien bought about twenty to thirty boquet of the flowers for table setting!

It was really AMAZING and i think she was better than any party event organizer!

The Flowers that she bought was really fresh and nice! Good job, Vivien!

Dining time. Remember i have taught all of you the way of using the cutlery during fine dining? always from the OUTER one to the inner one.

And always smile before the food is served … (just kidding, blek)

I spotted!!

I spotted!! I spotted Santa clause’s house! Did someone tell me that Santa’s house is actually a candy house?!
